Monday night was our first class @ The Journey Boise and it was awesome!!
The Lord’s presence was definitely felt as we got to move in love and worship.
We focused on 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. “Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” Wow! Yes, amen to that!
For so many years I have let the lie that I am “weak” and “not enough” control me. It was that lie that took root in my heart and gave birth to fear, shame, and constant comparison. No more will I allow that lie control me! I have been restored through Christ therefore I am no longer weak. I am enough and always have been. I am learning g what it truly means to live myself and like myself for who Christ created me to be. It is He who makes me strong.
I know Christ works all things for the good of those who believe and who have accepted Jesus as their Savior. I now know personally that sometimes the things that pain us most are the very things that will be used by the Father to heal us.
For years I have been a prisoner in my own body and at war with my self. Today I can say, I am on a different path.
A path to love and freedom with the help of Jesus.
If you too are looking for freedom and love and desire to be whole through Christ in order to pour out that Love for others, please consider a faith then fitness class with us. We’d love to have you join our tribe.
All His Love,
